The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate), commonly known as NEET UG, is the sole entrance examination in India for admission to undergraduate medical courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, and BSc Nursing. Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), NEET UG ensures a standardized assessment for aspiring medical students across the country.​

NEET UG 2025 Exam Date

The NEET UG 2025 examination is scheduled for May 4, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM IST. This pen-and-paper-based test will be conducted across various centers in India and abroad.​

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for NEET UG 2025, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Age Limit: Candidates must have completed 17 years of age by December 31, 2025. There is no upper age limit.​

Educational Qualification: Applicants should have passed or be appearing in the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects from a recognized board.​

Minimum Marks Required:

General/EWS: 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology.

SC/ST/OBC-NCL: 40% in the same subjects.

PwBD: 45% in the same subjects.​
